This is me, Leela. I’m a freelance illustrator and graphicdesigner based in Germany.
My passion lies in visual storytelling and atmospheric art, evoking emotions and conveying a message to those who look at my illustrations. Creating empathy and understanding for one another as well as for our environment is important for me. Through art and illustration we can connect with our feelings and reorganize our thoughts.
During my studies at the Muenster School of Design in Design and Illustration I was able to be part of various inspiring projects. In combination with my cultural studies at the Bielefeld Univerisity I can now offer a broad understanding of diverse artforms.
Working in the creative industry for quite some time, my expertise range from childrensbook illustration, bookcover illustration, characterdesign and gamedesign to poster and website design.
